In Full Bloom

Spring has got to be my favourite time of year. Even though the hayfever is constant, it is totally worth it. Days become longer, the flowers all start to bloom and the layers come off. Around the same time every year, florals start creeping into the shop floor again along with bright, bold, feminine colours. You can style florals in a multitude of different ways whether it be minimalist, maximalist, or something in between.

In this post, I’ve put together a few outfits from Cotton On that cater for all different occasions. However, each piece of clothing can be swapped for another to create an entirely new look. It’s all about experimenting with what goes with what so don’t be afraid to mix it up!

For me, I’ve been obsessed with denim lately and my humble collection of about three pairs of jeans has multiplied by about five in the last couple of months. Denim with embroidery on them is one of my ultimate weaknesses, if you haven’t noticed. Here, I’ve paired a cute pair of light blue embroidered jeans with a grey floral print top. This look is fun and vibrant, perfect for brunch or a day of shopping.

Below is something a bit more street and a little less shop is this outfit. Ripped denim embroidered shorts with a casual tee. Personally, I think this look is great if you’re just having a day out with some friends, chilling in the park … and brunch – never forget brunch. Most important meal of the day (#alternativefacts).

Finally, this pink floral top has got to be one of favourites. It’s just a really simple, versatile piece with a super cute print. It can easily be matched with almost anything. My personal preference, blue denim.
